The Desperate

The Desperate – an Immersive Club Experience about Craving and Comfort
is a freeform role-playing (party) game in two acts for 6–20 players and at least one game master. The game time is about 3–4 hours.

Despite the gloomy setting the game is intended as an energetic and positive party game. In a way, it is quite a lot like a club simulation with some twists. This does not mean, however, that the game is superficial. The characters can be played as traumatized individuals externalising their pain that reflects the alienation and loneliness in modern society. Alternatively, you can just hop on the party wagon and enjoy the ride of flirting, dancing and drama. Most games are somewhere in between. It is up to the players and the game master how deep they want to dive in to the world of desperation and yearning… but also comfort and solace. The Desperate – an Immersive Club Experience about Craving and Comfort

Forgiveness

Forgiveness – A Mindfulness-Based Role-Playing Experience about Guilt and Redemption

This “game” may be somewhat different from those you have played before. More precisely perhaps, it could be described as an experience. It involves no contact with other players, no overt interaction with the game master and the character you play is yourself. Recover from your shock in your own time and do read on.

The game is designed for one game master and any number of players. The game master acts as the organizer of the event and also as the narrator in the game. The game takes about 1–2 hours to play. It is played on a partly cloudy day outside lying on the ground, looking at the passing clouds.

Mikodine XA

Mikodine XA – A Live Action Game about a Revolutionary Drug
for Five to Eighteen players and a Game Master

Set in the modern-day office of Reyes & Shaw pharmaceutical company located at the heart of London, Mikodine XA is a game about the conflict between conscience and selfishness; supression vs. expression. Its innovative game mechanic draws inspiration from both musicals and improvisation theatre. Mikodine XA is also a political game promoting critical thinking about pharmaceuticals.

“This larp has it all – morals, politics, boardroom drama, voices in your head, ethical conondrums, slapping and clapping. The concept is polished, the presentation clear and detailed. The kinds of questions that occupy ethical philosophers and critics or employees of big pharma – but pretty much nobody else – are turned into drama and entertainment and then back into questions. “Mikodine XA” is for larp what “The West Wing” was for television.” We have only one question for the author(s): Where do we sign up?

In Dependence

In Dependence – A tale of a Love Triangle

In Dependence is a freeform role-playing game for four players and a GM.

In Dependence is a freeform role-playing game about indecisiveness, infidelity and relationships. The game is set in an ordinary city or a town where a couple, the Betrayer and the Betrayed, live. Their relationship has faded thin, verging on collapse, but neither is ready to admit it. The situation changes suddenly when the Betrayer visits the Third Wheel, his/her ex, and the two discover that they still have feelings towards each other…

The game emphasizes dramatic conflict and character immersion. It uses a variety of game mechanics such as scenes and voices to achieve this. The game is designed for four players and a game master. The game is rather gender-neutral and can be played with any combination of sexes. The game includes mature themes and might be emotionally demanding for some players. Players who have personally experienced demanding relationships might find the game most satisfying as they can reflect and process their previous relationships through the game. The total game time is about 4 hours.
